There’s no two ways about it -- Leila Josefowicz is a superstar. She came in to talk to us right before this concert with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and wowed us with her personality and virtuosity. She played John Adams' Violin Concerto, a piece that could be described as jazzy, a little bit magical, and peacefully disturbing. A true champion for the Concerto, she’s performed it throughout the world, and will walk us through this monumental piece.
